Give your flock a strong and hardy start with our Free-Range Farmyard Mix chicks. Produced from a carefully selected flock of Australorp, Boschveld, and mixed farmyard layer genetics, these birds are bred for resilience, adaptability, and reliable egg production.

Raised naturally at the Garden Route Trail Hatch House in Sedgefield, our chicks receive hands-on care from day one and are reared in a clean, healthy environment with access to quality feed and natural conditions. These mixed-genetic birds are ideal for backyard poultry keepers, homesteads, and small-scale farms looking for productive and easy-to-manage chickens.

These are unsexed chicks. At two weeks old, it is not possible to guarantee whether each chick will develop into a hen or a rooster.

• The customer is responsible for collecting chicks at the agreed time and ensuring suitable transport containers are provided
